Wendy brings more than a combined total of 25 years experience in the high-end service and human resources industries. She has worked across global markets and has held executive management positions in Europe and Asia. Prior to forming Ixia with co-founder and Managing Director Anna Cleland, Wendy was a senior consultant at generalist human resources firm, The Rialto Consultancy Ltd.
Previously she was based in Asia and held a senior management position as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing - Asia Pacific for luxury hotel group, Mandarin Oriental. Within this key role, Wendy demonstrated sound commercial skills, exceeding revenue targets for the Group. She also managed a diverse team of more than 50 employees and it was through her passion for people and delivering exceptional customer service that she pursued her career within strategic human resources management. Wendy has a unique and valued skill set of both operational and corporate expertise and is widely renowned within the luxury sector.
She is the pioneer and co-creator with Anna Cleland of Ixia’s diagnostic tool ixia-i3, a highly effective analytical platform to measure employee engagement based on solid research, rich technology and focused solutions.
Wendy is based in the United Kingdom and has worked in key international cities. She holds a MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birbeck College, University of London and a Post Graduate in Business Administration of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne. Ms Mitchinson is a qualified psychometrician (Level A & B) and an affiliate member of the British Psychological Society. She is a licentiate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
